Step 2: Custom Lighting Plan
Our team creates a detailed layout plan showing fixture placement, wiring routes, and the power pack location. We optimize for both aesthetics and function, making sure every transition point, stair, and perimeter zone is appropriately lit. You’ll approve the plan before we order materials.
Step 3: Material Procurement
We source all TimberTech lighting fixtures and accessories through our supplier network — ensuring you receive genuine, warranted products. Low-voltage wire, connectors, and the power pack are all included in your project scope.
Step 4: Professional Installation
Our installers integrate lighting fixtures during construction (for new decks) or retrofit them into your existing deck surface and railings (for existing decks). All wiring is run through or beneath the deck structure to keep the finished look clean and uncluttered. Low-voltage systems are safe and do not require a licensed electrician in most jurisdictions.
Step 5: Power Pack Setup & Testing
The 150W power pack is installed in a protected location — typically under the deck or in a nearby utility space. We connect all fixtures, configure the remote, and test every light to confirm proper function. Any adjustments are made before we leave.
Step 6: Walkthrough & Handoff
We walk through the completed lighting system with you — showing you how to use the remote, explaining the warranty on each fixture, and answering any questions. You’ll have everything you need to enjoy your deck lighting from night one.
