1. Homeowner’s Concerns? 

The homeowner called concerned about her aging roof and wanted it watertight before winter. Gutters leak at seams; skylight no longer opens. The trim is wet. Also interested in leaf guard protection.

2. Observations During Walk-Through: 

• The roof needed to be replaced
• The shingles were lifting
• The gutters were pitched in the wrong direction and therefore, they were holding water.
• There were not enough downspouts on the home

3. Estimate: 

Brown Bros provided an estimate with roofing, gutters, skylight and gutter guard options.

4. Project Overview: 

• Replaced roof with Landmark PRO in Pewterwood.
• Installed Velux venting skylight with solar shade qualifying homeowner for a tax credit.
• Replaced gutters with new oversized gutters, downspouts and properly pitched gutters toward downspouts.
• Also, replaced the rear three-season porch with a Mule-Hide EPDM rubber roof.
